WHERE ARE MY REFUNDS - AVAST ARE CROOKS!Īfter years of Subscriptions for several products, this is the so-called "Support" I got from their Customer Service. I have been promised my refunds would be in my bank within 2 working days - THEY WEREN'T. As you can see from their badly worded reply below - they provide platitudes & give the impression they want to help but their call centre staff are liars and just want to get you off the phone. What a dreadful service - I will be removing all Avast products from our computers and will never use their products again. I still haven't received my refunds 3 weeks after buying them. They had lied to me and then demanded a multitude of documentary evidence to prove that I had closed the disputed purchases with Paypal.
Repeated calls and e-mails to their customer service (who speak very poor English, difficult to understand and have very quiet microphones so they can't be heard very well) resulted in e-mails stating that the refunds had been made - THEY HAD NOT. I immediately contacted Avast to let them know and disputed the purchases with Paypal.
Unfortunately I also accidentally purchased their 'AntiTrack Premium' at the same time.
I purchased Avast's Driver Updater software (through Paypal) which tried to replace current drivers with more up to date versions that were NOT COMPATIBLE with my computer. Dreadful - go somewhere else for your softwareĪbsolutely abysmal software and customer service.
